Dr. Michael Edmondson is the Associate Provost for Continued Learning and has over 30 years of experience across a variety of functional areas (ex: operations, management, stakeholder outreach, communications, strategic planning, marketing, and administration), industries (ex: higher education, economic and workforce development, K-12 education, and consulting), and organizations (ex: non-profit organizations, colleges and universities, and for-profit businesses).
Due to his outstanding contributions to the Monmouth County community while serving as the Campus Director of NJCU @ Fort Monmouth, the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce presented Dr. Edmondson with its 2022 Distinguished Leadership Award.
Dr. Edmondson was selected to participate in and completed the 2021 AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance in Higher Education and the 2014 Council of Independent Colleges Senior Leadership Academy. Both programs are designed for administrators and Deans who aspire to senior leadership positions.
