Your Awareness
How often do you reflect upon your level of awareness surrounding the dynamics of your market?
To achieve any level of sustainability in today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) marketplace, individuals and leaders of organizations large and small need to remain vigilant in their awareness of the dynamics driving change.
In KPMG's 2023 CEO Outlook Report entitled "Growth in the Era of Compound Volatility," they highlight a new dynamic of change defined as "the age of compound volatility: the combination of disruptive risks to growth and structural changes — from sticky inflation to the energy transition to a shifting labor market — that raise the cost of doing business with little margin for error on strategy development and execution."
As a result of this 'compound volatility' in today's marketplace, leaders must foster an ethical culture that embraces change, innovation and smart risk-taking to drive growth; invest in continuously upskilling their people; and protect them from burnout." Enter NJIT's Continued Learning.
